Hunter Dog Collar Tara Brown/Cognac
The leather used in the Tara collars and leashes is very special. Its origins date back to pre-revolutionary times. To keep their feet dry in cold and wet areas, the Russian military needed exceptionally durable and water-resistant boots. Willow bark was used to dye the leather, making the leather particularly firm and giving it an unmistakable, distinctive odour. The jewel leather was therefore originally called Russia leather, and the material became synonymous with durability and resilience. The Tara products are based on this old production. The result is a dirt and water resistant dog leash that feels very smooth.
A nice detail are the contrasting stitching. This collar has a dark brown color on the outside and is lined with cognac leather.
